Four schools form the next scheme phase (3 and 4) of BSF. This includes St Thomas's Centre. The Shine Arts Strategist has attended a meeting on 29th November 2012 with St Thomas’s Centre Deputy Headteacher Ms P Walker as well as consultation with Headteacher Ms M Nowell and art teacher Ms S Delbridge.
The agreed consensus for the
artist residency would be to focus on making creative opportunity of
the special expertise that exists within the Centre and it’s new
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) building works. In particular, the
preference for an artist or artists producing physical work to provide
some legacy was mentioned.
